A festival called PANAMA 2015

In case you haven’t noticed, here at Vicious Children we love a good music festival. Nothing excites us more than the prospect of escaping from the realities of the “real world”, and not showering for a good few days straight. Hell, distance from your shower and suds of the body wash only makes the heart grow fonder, right?

After the success of its debut run in March of this year, a festival called PANAMA is back for its second stint in 2015 – and we couldn’t be more pleased.

Housed in a secluded valley in northeast Tasmania, the festival is set amongst the workings of a small-batch cider brewery, as well as the stunning Panama Forest. Not just a clever name, hey.

The 2015 instalment of the festival brings not only visual beauty, but also a delectable line-up, including the likes of Niger “desert-psych” guitarist, Bombino. Having fortunately seen the brilliance of this man live earlier in the year, his talents are unparalleled. But the experience of witnessing him live is so much more than that. To witness Bombino and his band live is a beautiful, enriching and majestic experience.

The line-up will also see the likes of Sharon Van Etten, Harmony, ScotDrakula, The Cactus Channell, Violet Swells and Ben Salter.

A festival called PANAMA will take place at Panama Forest, northeast Tasmania, from March 7-8, 2015.

Tickets for the festival go on sale December 1 through the official website.
