Introducing: Public Access TV

You remember those bands/songs that you hear for the first and just go “Woah.” And then you do that thing where you play the song over and over again to the point that you can pin-point the exact moment where there’s a key change; you’ve memorised all of the lyrics in the span of a couple of hours. Well, this is one of those moments.

Hailing from arguably the greatest city in the world, New York’s Public Access TV are starting to make quite the name for themselves, and not only on the east coast of the United States.

Since emerging at the beginning of this year from their hometown of Brooklyn, they’ve already been picked out by the likes of NME as a band to watch out for. And they’re just continuing to spread their wings.

Having just signed to Dew Press and released their debut single, Rebounder, the Brooklyn four-piece convincingly prove their music ability in this garage-pop, under-3-minute jam. It’s like music crack the first time you hear it; you just want to inject it into your ears over and over again. And if this is what we can expect from the band, then there is no doubt that they will be making splashes from their hometown all the way to ours.
